"A" Frame Rig
The frame is made up of 1" X 1" steel on the sides and 1.5" X 1.5" on the top and bottom. The sail tubes are 8" PVC. The bottom area is reserved to consrtuct a storage box of either .25" or .5" marine grade plywood. The heavier the box, the lower the weight distribution, effectively, making the trailer less top heavy.
Advantages:
- Ease of loading and unloading hulls
- Capability to build a storage box with minimum increase in wind resistance
Disadvantages:
- Top heavy without storage box
- Bottoms are virtually unprotected from highway debris or other trailers
