It started out a blustery day the kind piglet doesn't like but sailors do. Well, usually. It was cold in the morning and we were not sure that anyone would show up. But come they did. We ended up with 11 brave sailors. The winds calmed down and the temp went up to maybe 63 degrees. All in all a very nice day of sailing. Cindy and Charlie Clifton ran race committee with help from Luffing Lassie volunteers. They were all much appreciated.
Carol McDowell was kind enough to make trophies for us. Thank You Carol. We had three for each fleet.
We were glad to see Kyle Wagner back with us, and he did very well after being away so long. We had a new face with us and he had not raced for 25 years, Scott. He went in for race 2 to pick up his son and they double handed it. Way to start them early.
