Masters Update: 3/10/08

March 4th, 2008

3 races completed on Saturday. 4 races completed on Sunday.

The temps have been on the chilly side, but it is much better than 20  inches of snow. Each day it is getting warmer and the wind speed is dropping. On Saturday, wind shifts were 40 degrees with gusts up to 19. On Sunday the breeze was more steady, but tracked to right as the day went on.

Courses have been modified w/l 2 with gate. Only two general recalls each in the last race of the day. Tom Whitehurst and Donnie Brennan have separated themselves from the fleet. FYI: Donnie is the US Boatswainwright(sp?) to the US Olympic Team.

When I left last night…Donnie was trying to take out Tom; the Tillmans got locked in their room at their host’s house, Tom K. finally broke his homemade dolly after 25 years…
