The Venezuelan Sabrina Hernández hung the gold medal on Wednesday after finishing her participation in the sunfish of the I Central American and Caribbean Games of Sea and Beach.

 

The competition was held in Santa Marta, Colombia where the Creoles continue to add metals to the tricolor medal table.

 

The performance of the sailor was outstanding from beginning to end, because in six regattas accumulated two first places. "It was a good championship, where I started first and I had a lot of competition with the representative of Colombia and Cuba where we were always very close in terms of positions but I was able to keep leading," said the athlete after her participation.

 

This is the first medal that Hernández obtains representing the tricolor in the Olympic cycle. "It makes me very happy because I know I can achieve what I want, to be among the best makes me very happy," she concluded.
