The Lake Monroe Sailing Association would like to invite everyone to come and sail in the 11th Annual Kettle Cup Regatta.This year we hope to provide more to our local families in need but we need you. We need sailors to come out and participate in the Kettle Cup Regatta which is being held on December 1st and December 2nd.

Sue Cummings recovered a Sunfish near LBI NJ and is trying to locate the owner. Most likely a hurricane Sandy victim. If your boat is lost, please contact the Sunfish Class to get in contact. Please provide additional information to make sure you are the valid owner.

The 4th annual 2013 Charlotte Harbor Regatta is set for Jan. 31-Feb. 4, 2013, and features the Sunfish and Laser classes, in addition to seven other classes on four race circles. Charlotte Harbor is located on the Gulf Coast of Florida, between Sarasota and Fort Myers.

The Notice of Race for the 2013 Club Náutico de San Juan Regatta has been published. The 12th version of this regatta is set for february 1-3.

In the Sunfish fleet, the overall winner wasn’t determined until the very last race- that’s how close the rankings were. Although any one of four sailors could have taken it – Donny Martinborough, Peter Bruce Wassitsch, Lee McCoy or Paul de Souza- it was Donny in the end, the one with the most experience.
