The 2017 Sunfish International Masters is scheduled for March 26 - 28, while the 2017 Midwinters is scheduled for March 30 - April 1.

This year’s Women’s Sunfish North American’s is turning out to be the largest ever -- with 42 entrants! Yes, 42 women sailors from all over the country.

After a nearly 10-year hiatus from the Sunfish Class, Eduardo Cordero is back and back on top with a dominating performance at the 2016 North Americans in Lewes Delaware

The Pan American Committee confirmed the Sunfish will be the "Open Class," meaning men and women may compete singlehandedly together in 2019 in Lima, Peru.

If you will be competing in the upcoming North American Championship, or any other World Championship qualifying event, please be sure your sail numbers are compliant with our current class rule 3.6.5.

The 2016 Sunfish World Championship and 2016 Sunfish Youth World Championship Notice of Race are now available.

Good news for the Sunfish Class and World Sailing "interested parties and participants" I recently had the opportunity to travel to China and see the newly organized LaserPerformance team and manufacturing set up for Sunfish.

The International Masters started on March 20 and Midwinters begins March 24 at the US Sailing Center in Jensen Beach FL. Link through for the results as the racing progresses.

Due to some unforeseen issues beyond the control of Sail Salem, they are not able to host the 2016 Sunfish Youth and North Americans this year.

Alexander Zimmermann of Peru is the 2015 World Champion. His spectacular score line included four race wins giving him a final 16 point cushion over his nearest competitor.
