Former North American champ Doug Kaukeinen of New York, fresh off winning the second New England Regional of 2015, bested a 45-boat fleet to win the 2015 US Sunfish Masters Championship. 15 states were represented at the Massapoag (MA) Yacht Club. Combined more than 80 boats were on the line in New England for consecutive weekend championships!

We had a wonderful on shore and water seminar last Saturday and wonderful sailing followed by a special Gibbs/McMahon party following with 60 or so attending.

The International Sunfish Class Association invites you to apply as an “At Large” entry to participate in the 2015 Sunfish World Championship to be held October 11 through October 17, 2015 at Yacht Club Peruano, Paracas, Peru.

Set for Friday, June 26 at 1830 at the North American Championship regatta site.

The Sunfish US Masters (40+) Championship will be held July 31-Aug. 2, 2015 in Suburban Boston just four days after the New England Regional on Cape Cod, just 70 miles away. Sail one or sail both, but big, deep fleets are expected for a fantastic mid-summer week of fun and competition. Make a vacation out of it!

This is the US qualifying regatta for the Pan Am games.
