On a beautiful Rhode Island weekend, Amanda Callahan managed an unmatched level of consistency over nine races that featured a little bit of everything to win the first New England Sunfish Regional Championship of 2107 on June 10-11.

Sayville Yacht Club, (Blue Point, NY) will host the 2017 Sunfish North American Championships June 25th through July 1st, 2017

The 2017 Sunfish Youth World Championship and 2017 Sunfish World Championship Notice of Race are now available.

The 46th Sunfish Youth and World Championships held in Cartagena, Colombia, are now complete. Congratulations to Angelo Giuria of Peru, the Sunfish Youth World Champion, and to Alonso Collantes of Peru, the 2016 Sunfish World Champion.

In dominating fashion, Alonso Collantes won the World Championship. He finished with a net of 33 points (13 net races) easily topping a fleet full of past major champions./

In sunshine all week but adding some cloudy skies and a bit of spitting rain for today's last day of racing, Angelo Giuria of Peru sailed fast and smart to win the 2016 Sunfish Youth Champion.

Paul-Jon Patin competed against 18 other One-Design Class qualifying champion sailors from all over the country to win the top spot and the Jack Brown Perpetual Trophy in US Sailing's 2016 Championship of Champions.

Carolina Yacht Club, (Wrightsville Beach, NC) will be hosting the 2018 World Championships October 3 through October 13, 2018

With 39 women Sunfish sailors from all over the country, the competition was challenging, exciting and even fun.

Gail Heausler dominated a talented field of 39 sailors to capture the 2016 Women’s NAs championship hosted by Menantic Yacht Club, Shelter Island, NY.
