Qualification for the 2027 ISCA World Championship 

Please note, NICA (National ISCA Class Association) membership is required prior to any sailor from that country can accept the invitation to register for the World Championship. Each sailor must also be a member of their respective NICA.  

Please review the 2025 ISCA Worlds Class Notice Qualification document to understand how to qualify for this event. 

1. NICA Qualification - Please see document link above for country details. 

2. Event Qualification - 

a. Top 10 finishers from 2026 World Championship

b. All Prior World Champions (Past Winner List) 

c. Top five (5) finishers at the European, Central, South American and Caribbean Championships

d. Winner of the Master World Champion 

e. Winner of the International Masters Championship

f. The past three (3) year's winners of the North American, Central, South American and Caribbean Championships and European Championship. 

3. Leadership Qualification:

These sailors are qualified to participate in addition to NICA quotas. Alternates will not be selected to fill these places should the qualifier be unable to attend. Attendance at the World Championship by the leadership is critical for the coordination of ISCA.

a. ISCA World Council and Executive Committee: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Past President, Chief Measurer, World Championship Liaison, and World Sailing Representative.

b. ISCA Technical Committee Members.

c. Any other ISCA Committee Chairperson.

d. NICA Representatives (Country Representatives) to ISCA World Council.
