Awards immediately following last race (1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd Place awards), Junior Awards to be
based on registration, and Team Championship Award, if applicable.
Team Championship in the Annual Pocono Mountain Sunfish Invitational: The top five (5)
sailors that are bona fide members of the same listed Sunfish Fleet will be scored against
the top five (5) Lake Naomi sailors (Fleet #189). The winning team’s club name will be
added to the historic cup that will remain on display at the Lake Naomi Clubhouse.
All sailors are required to have a number on their sails. Please ensure that the boat you are
using has a number and that the number is listed on your registration form and confirm with me
on the morning of registration/sailing. If your boat does not have a number, you may add a
number temporarily with sail tape or purchase sail numbers inexpensively through
vendors.…West Coast Sailing, Sailrite, Vela Sailing Supply or Amazon. Before choosing your
number, please check with me to avoid duplications.
REGISTRATION FOR THE 2026 SUNFISH REGATTA IS REQUIRED TO BE DONE ONLINE
UNDER THE SAILING ICON IN EVENTS AND PROGRAMS FOR ALL LAKE NAOMI MEMBERS. AFTER YOU REGISTER ONLINE, contact Lake Naomi Sunfish Fleet Captain Mark Chotkowski at fcmcac@yahoo.com or 917-748-8493 to ensure that your registration is confirmed and email me a copy of your Registration Form with all necessary information completed.
Special NOTE:
In order to prevent the spreading of Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS), aquatic nuisance algae and disease – ALL boats/watercrafts, trailers, inflatable watercrafts and rafts, fishing clothing and gear used in other waters MUST be properly treated with a 2% bleach and hot tap water solution, and then allowed to thoroughly dry PRIOR to use at Lake Naomi – Timber Trails. The solution can be applied by using a hand sprayer or a spray bottle. Spray on, allow to dry, no wiping needed.
